Indian Cent Challenge - pic inside - answer revealed

OK, I know the answer but I'd like to know if anyone else can figure out what happened to this Indian Cent. If you are positive of the answer, let it ride a while as I'd like to see some guesses. The lettering that you see is indeed raised.
