I had the privilege of viewing that coin back in 2003. It was on display in Charleston, S.C. at the location where they are working to preserve
the Hunley. It was in a tall glass case that was roped off so you couldn't get close enough to touch the case itself. There was a S.C. State Trooper standing guard next to it. No pictures were allowed but I did buy a replica of it. Incredible U.S. History there!

Really nice coin, that is something any real collector would love to have!

It's great if they'd want to loan it to a museum, but really, this is a piece that family should own.

Cool coin and part of history. Dont know about the good luck part though. Think that was all used up the first time.
