PCGS & ANACS AU58 Trade Dollars

I just received an 1877-S Trade Dollar in a ANACS AU58 holder. I already have an AU58 in a PCGS holder and comparing the two I'm well pleased with both. The ANACS has just slightly less wear than PCGS, but I think they are very close. What do you think? The ANACS is first followed by the PCGS:

I think the folks all doped up on Kool-Aid will tell you to crack out the ANACS coin.

If I like the obv of the PCGS and the Rev of the ANACS! Could you glue the slabs together?

The PCGS coin is overgraded - 53 or maybe 55 at a stretch.

The ANACS coin is AU55 and the PCGS is AU50.

I love three of the sides, but Liberty's face on the second one freaks me out.

The ANACS is definately the stronger of the two coins. Either the PCGS one has a weak strike on the obverse head or it should be a 53/55 coin.

Actually, it just has the typical Type I strike...

I think some of the difference is that the PCGS coin is a weaker strike especially on the reverse. The motto and the mint are weak, but it doesn't look like wear. You can also see weakness in liberty's hair and crown on the PCGS vs the ANACS coin. I may be wrong, but it looks more like a weak strike than wear.
