Just busted 78T Baseball (wax)

Ok after 7 long days waiting for UP to bring me my box it arrived from BBCE. My first question is are the Molitor/Trammell rookies known to have ink smears? I pulled 2 and both were smeared over the 'RO' and the 'H' in shortstops. I take it this is common? I pulled no Murrays image but got these:

Ryan but with gum on back
Morris (2)
Dawson
Carlton
Morgan
Whitaker
Murphy/Parrish with gum on back
Ryan SO Leader
Sutter
Rice (2)
Hunter (2)
Eckersley
McCovey
Bench

None of these better than a 7/8. Without the smears the Molitor/Trammells were 6/7 because of centering.

    Molitor/Trammell smear is very common
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

If you guys want to gamble and try and find submittable cards you should just buy complete sets on Ebay. You can pick up a NMT-MT set for usually 30-40% of what a box would cost, you'll get one of every card and you will usually find a more than a few very nice mint cards. Limit yourself to buying from reputable sellers and you'll do just fine.

  • I see what you are saying Boo but for me the fun is in opening the packs. I feel like I did when I was 9 and opening my first packs of 1981s. image
