New $1 reverse designs-another example of why there is no hope...

Page 34 of the March 14, 2006 issue of NUMISMATIC NEWS features drawings of 21 potential reverse designs for the new dollar coins. The designs are very predictable and show absolutely no creativity. They appear to be the work of graphic designers rather than true artists.

Where is Teddy Roosevelt when we need him?
All glory is fleeting.

    Another sad reflection of the loss of creativity in our society in general. Architecture, music, art...etc., etc. image

    I will see it when I get home probably, but I can already picture the stupid dull designs.....

    This entire idea behind these coins is horrible with no good qualities or ideas behind them.....
