So did hundreds of thousands of other folks on our great planet today.
Kirby was born with the genes that gave him the skills to make a fortune playing a little kid's game into his adulthood.
For some reason, his untimely death has become some kind of a reason for nerds
to start worshiping him because he happened to play baseball and die when he was relatively young.
The other people who died today weren't as lucky. When they beat up their wives and beeches, they went to jail ...

It is sad when a man who brought joy to millions dies young. If it makes you feel better talking about the various rumors that came about after his playing days, knock yourself out. I am sure all the "nerds" that "worshipped" him are feeling shame over being taken to task by you......or not.
Whatever ... joy to thousands might be more appropriate.
Of course, now he has joined the ranks of the Thurman Munsons.
Wasn't really that good, but he died young so now he we have to worship him forever.
Nothing against you personally, it's just human nature to pretend that dead guys were better than they actually were ...
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
So sure Kirby had his wrong doings, but today the majority of us love him for that, because he makes us feel alive knowing that we too have flaws and that someday we will be remembered for the good we did by those around us, just as Kirbys good is remembered today.
