Nice coin, what grade did ANASC have it slabbed?
My humble '63 mint registry set, not much, but it's mine!
  • I'm little confused, why would you think that might be counterfeit?

Counterfeit? Why? An SVDB I understand, but this? Even the '09-P without VDB is more valuable in this condition than one with VDB...

nah, that came off wrong, I went for a slabbed coin as opposed to trying for anything raw due to the possiblity of encountering a counterfeit, though I guess that's more likely with the "S" mint, since these are more common.

    ANACS: MS 63 RB (Cert# 1459087)

I like the looks in-hand, but the back has a print on it (looks like a print to me)

Im trying to stick with slabbed these days, using a combo of what I think looks attractive with the slab for insurance, I haven't the honed sensibilities of some on the board image

Believe it or not, a counterfeit 09 VDB might actually sell more as a counterfeit than the real McCoy. Legal or not, counterfeit coins are collectibles in their own right.

Buyer and seller of vintage coin boards!
