Is Anybody Else Having Trouble With eBay? Pages Not Loading Fully, Images Only Loading Half-Way, ect

The images on our listings are downloading fine on our website but the very same images are only loading half-way when I try it's eBay listing. They are the same image source coming from the same server but they don't load completely on eBay and yet they load just fine on my website. I've also had trouble with pages not fully loading, especially when I try to list an item. The page will load part of the way and the status bar says "done" but the page is only 1/2 or 3/4 loaded.

Is anybody else experiencing this trouble?

  • I don't know why but Ebay is slow as molasses in the dead of winter for me every, single day. I don't think I could tell the difference between normal and what you posted in my case. I don't have that kind of problem with any other site on teh internet.

  • It helps to go through and clean up the computer, do a disk cleanup, clear the history etc. I had to do this last month to get Ebay functioning properly. Best of luck.

It works fine for me but they've obviously been !*#%ing with it. Some of the eBay auction pages are completely different than they were yesterday.

The Andale counter is always hanging up on the weekends. Real bad on Sundays. Other times it's Ebay's thumbnail photo. Then it throws up a red x, but you can click on it and it loads the other photo.

Since early yesterday I have noticed problems in general with almost every website. With Ebay I have been noticing problems for the last week and experience exactly what you are describing.

total speculation here, but i've always thought it had to do with when the seller
lists the item. If they are running through the listing pages and not giving the pictures
time to be fully loaded into the ebay system before moving onto the next listing page, it
can cause it to ball up like that.
In other words while listing, sellers make sure you can actually see the picture in the pane before
    moving onto next page?

Yep, same here. This forum wouldn't load in five minutes for me. I tried a few replies and it simply timed out.

Not my connection, that's for sure. It was only this site where I was wasting time, everything else was working fine for me, including the Bay.
