actually i prefer some dark areas to accent the luster as it shines in the bright areas... i do this by design...
i think i am lacking in detail.... i try to capture the flow of metal if i can in my images...

That is by far the best Obv I have seen on a cir strike.. assuming that is not a satin finish I am guessing... Good grab and nice pic lucy.

I find if i can focus enough, I can bring out detail that might escape the eye, as far as metal flow is concerned....
