German 5 Mark Pattern, 1925

K-352, Germania 5 Reichsmark Pattern, 1925, Struck Bronze, 36mm, “D” Munich mintmark, Schaaf 331G2,RR, UNC.
Obverse: Germania (Variety 2) bust left.
Reverse: Spread eagle over Fünf Mark (Variety 2) with “D” mintmark.
In 1925 Goetz made patterns for Opus 352 which he called “Reichsmünzproben Germania” (Federal mint patterns “Germania”). These patterns came in values of 2,3, and 5 Marks and were manufactured in both thin and thick planchets. The designs were never adopted for coins.

Great pics as always and I have always liked this design. I have three of the 3 marks with different reverses. It is hard to find this type in silver that has not been cleaned
