For the guys and gals that have been talking about the SF verious BS coins. Check out this auction of a MS67 Business Strike Kennedy. 2005-D MS67 Non Satin
And to think I wanted to put this in my set as a under coin to the MS68SF that I paid about fify dollars for.

I've never been one for the crack out game, but I have two NGC 2005-D Kennedy's MS68s (non-SMS) that I'm thinking about sending to PCGS for crossover. Even if they only come back as MS67, at that price it might be worth it......but then would I be willing to sell? Probable not.

  • Hi Tim. I seen those ngc 68's going for around $2-$250 on teletrade not too long ago. At those prices, the crackout game looks mighty good!!

    Roger,
I picked up the two I have on eBay, one for $35 and the other for $43.50. If I played the crackout game (or cross over), don't think I would have the heart to sell them anyway.

Can't you send them into PCGS still slabed for crossover with a Minium grade set? Seems at the price you got them at it would be a win,win that way. And if you only sold one it would pay the way and would only bring the POP up to about ten in 67.
  • Heak I would be happy with a 66. I'm sure this is a great looking coin. Will worth the price and after looking though 20 fresh rolls at the coin shop today I'm sure they will be hard to get. The best I could find was a few 65's the rest were baggy and weak struck.

You did very very good at those prices. Here is some of the ngc 68's I seen TT. 05-d Kennedy and here is the 05-p Kennedy. These were at the end of July last year. I wouldn't want to swear that these are genuine B.S. coins with out seeing them in my hands, but you just never know.

The ngc slabs are a funny thing. Sometimes you can realize good $ with them, and at other times you can't give em away. Maybe it's just the luck of the draw. I've done well with their ms68 shq's, but the 67's are slowly declining in price, but that seems to be the trend at the moment with 67's overall.

Excuse the poor pictures, but would this one be worth doing a cross over to PCGS?
