OK, let see some predictions as the tourney is just around the corner.

    Well Connecticut is the best team in the country.

    But I liked Villanova to win it in January and I still like them now. Villanova plays a bad, desperate Syracuse team tomorrow in a hostile environment - the game is Syracuse's tournament life, but 'Nova still has a chance to secure a #1 seed.

    There's 65 freaking teams so I have to pick more than 1. Darkhorse picks being Michigan State (experience) and UCLA (really impressing me on the road).

    Although anybody but Duke will work for me image

    I like Villanova, or Memphis.

    Duke has picked the wrong time to start losing games...could they lose a #1 seed? (I doubt it.)

    UConn is going to slip and fall - I don't think they make it past the Sweet 16.

    Did anyone see the Nova Pitt game? It looked like Krauser poked out Allan Ray's eye and Ray got taken to the hospital - it looks real serious.

    They said on ESPN that his eye actually came out and it was too gruesome to show! I hope the kids OK and that he doesn't lose his sight.


    On a side note, my Illini look brutal. I think now they will get a 4 seed and I could see them losing to a 13 seed. I am naseous.

    That's good news on Allen Ray, what a shame it would be if he couldn't play anymore this season after his team is on the brink of the tourney.

    I still like Villanova or Memphis to win it all. Don't be surprised if Duke makes an early (third round?) exit, and UConn won't fare much better.

    To my knowledge, if Texas wins, we will be the 1st school ever to win the three major championships in the same school year.

    Texas, Texas, yeee-haaa!
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    Last year was NC v Illinois and that match up was 2 number one seeds... I don't think that has happened in awhile.

    I think it will be some low seeds this year. There are no dominant teams like Illinois and unc last year.
