& a daily TTT!
What happened was unfortunate, but nothing 'bad' happened & if others what to know they can contact you KK.
I have yet to have a problem there & would recommend it.
Yes, Ron Day is the 'owner' of the site, and has "dictator" powers, but in a sense that's what I like...if it deals with so-so traders.
Again, what happened to KK was unfortunate, and I can see his side, but I still like the site.
-fact, owner of site allows members to put up coins up for auction with certain guidelines,
-fact, member goes and list app. 12 silver dollars up for auction following said guidelines to the letter,
-fact, owner decides to delete said auctions unilaterally without giving member a chance to edit, change or delete said listings,
-fact, owner apologizes for not being specific on the said guidelines,
-fact, member requested that since it was not the member's fault that he should re-instate the listings,
--fact, owner deleted member's listings w/out saving them.
-fact, owner totally disrespected member, and acted in a very un-professional manner
-final fact, said owner stated that member will regret leaving the site & not utilizing the site (yeah right).
bottom line: be careful when you join Trading Slabs and be aware of some of the tactics the owner of that site will utilize.
Wait a minute,
Thats me you are talking about in the third person!
There are two sides to every story.
Here is mine.
1. Kollector was a great memeber of Tradingslabs
2. Kollector posted an auction (I had just put up the forum)
3. Rules were in two posts and Kollector must have missed one of them, or not understood that offers for bid required a min starting amount that they were willing to sell the coin/coins for. ( we are a new site and the traffic we generate is unlikely to sustain ebay style auctions )
4. As is customary on all moderated sites I deleted the post and notified Kollector that he could repost if he still wanted to post an auction under the clarified rules. (I thought he might not want to repost since his original ad was so differnet from the posted rules)
5. Kollector told me that he was upset that I had deleted his post and asked if I could restore the post.
6. I apologized for not keeping a copy of the post, and explained that I had no way to restore a deleted post.
7. Kollector canceled his trade with me, and said he would never come back to trading slabs.
8. I acknowledged his resignation stating that I he might regret leaving tradingslabs over an imagined slight.
Hey this is the first interactive sight I have ever run. I started it to have fun and provide a place for collectors to trade coins in a safe and relaxed environment. I have only been at this about 8 weeks now. I am bound to make mistakes. But Kollector just took his coins a left. In hindsight I should have cut and pasted his original post into my message to him, but if you live your life in hindsight all you are ever going to see is your ass!
For those of you who are curious stop by and have a look. You might say like kollector posted in one of my forums before he lost his temper and stormed off. " Hey I like this place"

That is just silly. I even listen to UNreasonable suggestions. He even complimented me for implementing some of his suggestions.
Boy do I hate the taste of sour grapes..
