How to buy new currency

Hi, is there an outlet for new currency like there is for coins such as the USmint site?

WOW, I went to that site and did not realize you could purchase from there. It is a little confusing on how to purchase.

Should the new 10 dollar note be collected?

Yes. You can either go to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing store online, , or go to the BEP gift shops in DC or Washington. You can also go to your local bank. Credit Unions usually don't have the newest bills . Come check out the Currency forum here.

Ask at your local bank(s). They only charge face value.

Much like the US Mint, the BEP does offer special sets every once in a while.

My wife collects currency....She talked to our head teller and she is keeping 10 of the $10 new bills with consequtive numbers for her. Go to your bank!!

I like the uncut sheets of bills.

16-note new $10 uncut sheets

Seems a little steep though. And too bad they don't come in 32-note sheets.
