They went out of there way to get my coin to me fast. Shipping was super fast, they even called me on the phone the day the coin arrived to get my evaluation. Sue is fantastic to work with.

They are excellent! I usually buy my raw errors and send them to PCGS rather than trying to out bid all the forum members here. Be sure to tell them that you are submitting to PCGS and they will let you know right then and there if it will grade or not due to other minor problems.

That's my opinion as well.

On the other hand, they also have a lot of tough Morgan VAMs in stock that rarely come around at all, and anyone with such material in hand is certainly entitled to charge whatever they want.

My biggest pet peeve with them is, on the three occasions I decided "price be damned" and I called to buy, the items were already sold and they just hadn't updated their website.

I started buying from them back in the mid 70's, when the business was just known as Lee Craine's Coins (before they incorp). They have always been outstanding to deal with. I remember buying a couple of sets of Lincoln pennies from them, 1934-58 back in the mid 70's, He shipped them in a dansco album and through in a 1909 and a 1909VDB (all pennies are still bright red today, even the 09's).

My experience was similar. First time was fine. Second time theny sent cleaned junk and I returned it. Third time, I specifically said I wanted nice, original coins only and they again sent cleaned junk. I'm done with them.
