1883 Liberty Nickel - No Cents

Just posting another one of the coins from the collection I'm looking at. Let me know what you think:

Nice, looks clean ,au58 based on the image could be ms but image is dark

Thanks for your feedback. I Photoshopped the image to amp up the brightness and the contrast a little. I think it's a fairly good representation of what the coin would look like in-hand.

If those stars didn't look worn, I'd say it could probably pass for MS-60 or maybe a little higher. (It's also too bad it didn't have the "CENTS", but c'est la vie. )

Very nice lice luster, but only a average strike. Overall a pleasing coin and very nice AU example.

Personally, I would wait for a better struck example if I were thinking of adding this coin to my collection. The 1883 No Cents nickels are very common even today, so finding a better struck example would not be too hard....Mike
