Newp: 1933-S walker

This is one of those coins that I always wanted to have in my collection, but didn't want to pop for the premium that some of the higher graded '33S walkers tend to go for. Not sure what caused the type of horizontal hits on the breast and right leg of the eagle. It's in a 63 PCGS holder.

    Very nice coin. Very nice strike indeed! I believe 1933 was the tops for strike and then it deteriorated until the pits at 1942-42s. Pretty walker.

    Nice. Plus I like this coin because it's the only regular issue date/mint combo which isn't a cent, other than prohibitively rare gold, with the 1933 date.
