Are we on a level playing field???

Quick question from the cynical pessimist in me.

Are we buying boxes on a "level playing field"????

Just curious as to whether any of you think these companies know where the good inserts are and whether or not they are sending them to their "good" customers???

I'm three boxes into my four boxes of heritage, getting nothing to write home about. People are buying a case or two and not getting any autos.

On eBay right now, there is a seller with ALOT of feedback that has EIGHT real one autos for sale. That's not counting a Musial auto that is $100+ and not counting a Snider auto for $200+ and not counting a Mantle/Arod bat card at $200+!!image

10 autos and a $200 gu card from one seller???? and the rest of us are having a hard time pulling anything worthwhile??

Are all of us getting the same "odds" on the back of that box????

    It would be only natural to get paranoid.

    I got no autos in a case last year...

    Just my bad luck I guess.

    I don't think there's any collusion myself.

    This guy may have access to many people making these pulls that don't sell on ebay? Like a busy card shop e.g.

    Plus, there are some big sellers on ebay who are buying 10-15 cases and cracking.

    Just a guess
    We're just gonna have to get the CIA involved!

    If the seller of all those cards is who I think it is, they bought 27 cases of '06 Heritage. You can look at the message board on www.blowoutcards.com and see what the "casebusters" are getting in their boxes.

    Being a collector of sets 1948 to 1961 primarily I love the formats of the heritage cards however I have 2 years ago purchased a case to build 1 full set and it took a case worth of cards to do it.I did get many inserts however no BIGGIES,I sold almost all of them with no problem.I am very tempted to purchase the 57s however only a couple boxes at the most just to satisfy my pack breaking urge.Definetly the Best of all the Heritage releases in my opinion.

    I was only giving an example of one seller having A LOT of premium cards, not specifically "accusing" one person. I thought I read here once that some of the members here who used to be dealers would be contacted by card companies and offered "better" boxes for an additional price. Maybe I'm just imagining I read that.

    Anyway, you're probably right Mike. Just being paranoid. Maybe our luck will turn around on the very next pack.
