1991 Topps stand-ups....Anyone ever eat the candy?

I just bought this for my Clemens collection and noticed that the candy still smelled pretty good. Anyone ever try eating it? I tried some '91 gum from a wax pack a few months ago and nearly gagged, but that was gum and this is candy.

I picked up a few of those for my Mattingly collection a few months back and wondered the same thing.......tempting little things just shaking in those boxes, ready to be munched on !

My dad used to have those sitting around when I was a kid. I actually got punished for eating some of the candy. Memories.

Also, I have opened some '82 wax and I couldnt resist on the gum. It tasted like cardboard seasoned with FeBreeze. Yes, it was that bad. My dog seemed to like it well enough.
