    I don't have any info on their rarity, but I think that's extremely cool!

    Figure that the rotated die aspect makes the coin worth at least 50% more than Grey Sheet.
    When in doubt, don't.

    1878-CC Dollars with Rotated Reverses are not that rare;
    in fact, they are one of the most common Morgan Dollar
    Rotated Reverses.

    However, because they are First Year Issues, AND
    Carson City Mint coins, they are extremely popular
    and fast, easy sellers.

    I'm not sure, but I think they are the only CC date known
    in RR (not counting 15 degree or less rotations).

    By the way, the U.S. Mint today considers anything under
    22 degrees NOT to be an error worth "pulling aside" when
    discovered at the presses.....

    That's a nice piece, and congrats..........

    Thanks Fred! I browse through your site often. To me, it is as invaluable as the Heritage auctions archive. Thanks for the info and all of your great work image

    I would think it is tougher in 65, but as Fred said, it is the most common rotated reverse Morgan
