    For what it's worth, I've always been a fan and have a few books on Eliasberg's collection and biography, but not all of his world gold was as good as silvereagle's example. His Greek gold coins were very few and very mediocre, I have trouble to believe that he couldn't locate better examples,especially back then, he probably simply wanted to fill these spots with the first examples that came along.

    Or maybe the premium examples were sold privately before the public sale, it's not a possibility to exclude, especially considering the secretive nature of most Greek collectors. image
