Is PCGS missing an opportunity in the "World Series"?

I sure would like to see the progress of the participants in the World Series of Coin Grading. I believe that PCGS should allow non-participants/club members to view the leader-board. Who knows, maybe this would entice me to join in the fun, and their club... I think somebody is missing the boat here. Perhaps someone can clue me in, as to the reason for the exclusivity.

That being said as part of the contest the population of coins is shown, which is a paid member feature only.
Also, the portfolios are named by the contestants which may or may not be the owners username, so it would not benefit most to view the actual names of these portfolios as they won't necessarily know who is in the contest.
I don't know if they are being exclusive, but I hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer, MarineEAS1999. I understand the "user name" part, however, pops are easily garnered by anybody, with a quick look at the registry sets for a particular series, which offer pops. Also, a simple requirement or recommendation that an anonymous name be used for registration in the WS, if so desired.

Then on the 'other side of the coin' some would say that the World Series is a membership privelidge and outsiders shouldnt get the same benefit for nothing, as it could cheapen the meaning it has for existing members. Both sides have valid points, all of which must be pondered before making final decisions. If enough people said they would bail on long standing memberships, maybe the sense of loyalty meant more than the future prospects generated by the contest alone. After all, PCGS seems to be the most well-known and respected of the TPGs as it is already.

...we're putting out a minor upgrade today that will let non-participants view the leaders.
Thanks!
