    That's a great Williams and I think you got it for a great price. The significance of an autographed card from the year he hit .406 makes it all the more important.

    I was 0-for-2... Lost on the 39 Playball lot with all the sample cards and wasn't going to go anywhere near the final price on the John L Sullivan whiskey statue.

    I really think SMR needs to lower the values on a lot of the 60's high end stuff which is clearly not worth anything even close to what it's listed at. Many of the easier cards to find in high grade are overvalued in the SMR by 30-40% across the board.
  • I lost out on several items, but did win this panoramic of opening day in Cincinnati dated 1912.

  • I also lost out on this, but was happy to see that it sold for $1641.00. I already have a pair of ticket stubs from this game that I paid much less for! It was the first night game in baseball.
