<< <i>Isn't the seller the same guy who was featured in the SMR magazine as having the #1 alltime Rose Master set ?
Funny that he didn't send that card to PSA
Dave >>
Maybe he bought it in thoughts of having it crossed over, then had it looked over by PSA and they told him it wouldnt cross over so now he is selling it.
<< <i>How can you "quarantee" evidence of trimming?

I cant "guarantee" it, but if the dude has the #1 Rose master set, there would only be one reason he would have a GEM Rose card graded by GAI in his collection. PSA wouldn't grade it. I don't think it was trimmed, but likely sheet cut. PSA won't grade sheet cut cards. Beckett will and I am pretty sure that GAI will. I have a 77 OPC Dave parker that was a BVG 9, with 9.5 centering, edges and corners. PSA wouldn't grade it when I cracked and sent it. It is definitely sheet cut, and not by me.
<< <i>Actually BotR, the back can be 75/25 with PSA and get a 10. >>
Yes, but wouldn't you think a 'perfect' card is better that a PSA 10? 'Perfect' is a stronger term than 'Gem Mint'. >>
I totally agree. GAI has got to quit with this 'perfect' BS unless they're going to do the grade justice. Remember the 'perfect' '52 Bowman Mantle that was OC? Ugh.
Beckett has clearly stated that if the card meets size requirements and is sheet cut they will grade the card. From my understanding PSA and SGC will not grade a card if they are able to clearly determine it is sheet cut. I have no idea what GAI's policy is regarding sheet cuts.
