"Thousands of cards" in a vacant house?

If you didn't know it, I buy and sell homes!

I guess I'm pretty well known for this , as I get a "ton of emails", letters, postcards, FAXES, phone calls, etc. all the time promoting "this house or that house", a "super deal if you move fast", this house "is a steal", "fifty cents on the dollar", "blah, blah, blah", ...heck, I bought 3 on ebay!

In any event, most of these "go in one ear and out the other", or just get "trashed as some spam", as I would need to be "The Donald", to buy all the "so-called" good deals sent my way!

But some one definately knew "how to push my buttons". I get an email from a Realtor that I know of, that claimed, "Bob, I found a house that is a steal if you move quickly! By the way Bob, someone left thousands of baseball cards in this vacant home"!

Yeah, you guessed it! ...I drove for over an hour to see the home!

edit: The house was retail cr@p! And the baseball cards were "retail cr@p" also! image

    Yeah...

But I bet you had great feelings on the way there...

    My mind would've been racing...

    Honus, Mantle, Cobb, Gehrig, Williams....

I used to dream, as a kid, about finding buried treasure!

Now, my wife tells me....you make one more ebay purchase and you're gonna be buried treasure!!!

Better luck on the next one rb
