I am trying to figure out how to do attachments. Does anyone know what this is?

This may or may not work. I believe this coin is some kind of cast coin, but I would like to know if anyone knows anything about it.

Your piece is a cast copy of a die used by British coiners in the early 1790's to try to compete for a contract to suppy the USA's coinage. The US decided to go with its own mint instead. The British prototypes are pretty scarce.

Thank you. If I could bother you again, do you know when it might have been made? I have never thought that it looked that much like the real thing, so I wondered what was the point of making it.
