My Fleer redemption came today.......

Was supposed to get a Torii Hunter Level 1 Sweet Sigs auto or something like that. I received:
Jeff Cirillo 2001 Fleer Platinum National Patch Time Jersey
Mike Mussina 2000 Skybox Genuine Coverage Jersey (not listed in the checklist for 2000 Skybox, don't know why)
Steve Lomasny 2001 Fleer Autographics Auto

If anybody has any info on the Mussina, let me know.

    Doesn't seem like too fair of a tradeoff.

    I'm somewhat unaware of how the redemptions were working. I'm assuming that the Hunter is a no go due to Fleer's liquidation, and that you were sent those other three in place of the Hunter?

    My question is, Hunter has signed in numerous Fleer sets before...they couldn't dig up a Hunter autographed card from one of those sets???
    Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    What you get is what you get and from what I have seen most of it has been junk!

    The way the letter explains it is that no matter what you send in, they just pick cards out of a pile, you will receive one auto and two GU from the same sport. Also states that this is the only compensation, can't be disputed and can't be returned and the matter is considered settled.

    Well, as of a few months ago - you would have gotten nothing. And, you would have had no one to complain to. So, at least getting something in this case, even a Mike Mussina card, is better than nothing.

    Who said I was complaining? I just listed what I received. Actually happy with the Mussina, and the Cirillo is a nice three color patch.

    This was bankrupcy - everyone could've easily wound up with nothing.

    I haven't picked up a new Standard Catalog yet but the old one has the card at 15$.

    Which unfortunately translates on ebay to a couple of bucks? Don't know.

    Wasn't looking to sell, I just like to know BV so when I put it into my computer I have something to go by. That is one of my faults about being a "collector" I want to keep anything no matter what it is. Don't take that the wrong way though, if there was a Mussina collector out there who needs this card, I would gladly help them out as long as they can offer me something to replace it.
