Kudos for PCGS Price Guide

While there may be a difference of opinion as to absolute

values shown for some of the listings, the guide has proven to

be an accurate measure of the direction of certain coin series as

well as the velocity of that change. A lot of hard work and appreciated

by this collector.

I don't think you can have just one kudo, but it's the thought that counts image

Prior to WS, someone went in and really cleaned up my series of interest. I thought I would have a field day finding mispriced coins for the WS, but it actually turned out to be tough. Kudos!

I think that the plural of "kudo" would be "Kudos". The possesive form of "kudo" would be "kudo's", e.g. Kudo bought a new indian cent, therefore the indian cent is Kudo's indian cent.

I agree completely. It is very easy to sit on the sidelines and "prove" that any price list is flawed. Putting one together and maintaining it is much more difficult. I think PCGS does as well as could possibly be expected.

Actually, I use the PCGS Price Guide more then Gray sheet

when bidding on E-Bay. I find it more valuable in telling me

when I might safely stretch on a bid.

Indeed. It looks as though the relative valuations are getting much more believable as well.

There are still some moderns which are underpriced or overpriced relative to others but the guide
is getting them much more in line. They still grossly undervalue the low grades though. They show
choice '82 and '83 issues selling for much less than wholesale unc, for instance.
