New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Or in smoe cases ... Kennedy Halves sold by Legend for which Russ could have made a killing on but Laura didn't ...

1. A small mechanical device or control; a gadget.
2. An unnamed or hypothetical manufactured article.
not my definition, but yours. as i said, Legends are just prettier............and more expensive.
BTW, you're getting easier to snag, Bruce.
Whatever floats your boat...
Someone should put that in their sigline so that the question need not ever be asked again!
FYI, some people are very offended by the use of the term in this forum, so I advise not bringing it up again!

Figured I should be all inclusvie. There seem to be a multitude of spelling versions of the word all over this place.
Most Morgan dollars, even the exhaulted keys like the 93-s below MS, are widgets with the exception of a few top pops, branch mint proofs, and some rare DMPLs and maybe VAMS, except that VAMS are widgets for most folks who regard the VAMsters as weirdos armed with 30x stero microscopes.
