If PSA East, where ?

Here's a fun question to you all. If PSA could generate (key word here) enough business that warrants an additional
office location on the East Coast, where would it be? Yes, this office would provide all the services
as the Southern California office. I am not sure if this is even possible, but I just wanted to pose
the question.

My top 3 locations:

DC Metro Area
New York
Philadelphia

I would be interested to hear your comments. I live in Fairfax County, Va., and I really hate the long
transit time with my submissions. Man, having a PSA office here would just make my day !!

I have often wished the same thing as you, I dont know if it would ever come to fruition or not but it is fun to think about. Anywhere east of the Mississippi would be fine by me !

I say put it in my hometown, Jackson,Tn
We are almost exactly midway between Chicago and New Orlenes, And very centrally located within the US. Not to mention, The world headquarters for Fed Ex is just 80 miles away in Memphis.

    Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina!
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

To hel[ with the east coast we just need a PSA Canada location period. There's a TON of raw cards here but dealing with the border when shipping back and fourth sucks. I'm guessing 90% of the Canadian collectors don't want to go through the bother of submitting due to the hassle/customs fee's.

    Some nice feedback folks.

Chicago actually makes a lot of sense. I can live with North Carolina since I am not too far
away. Hopefully, this will come true one day !!

How about Charlotte, NC? With low rent/building and labor costs that should mean lower prices per graded card. Unlike the high rent district of CA! My 2 cents...

define east. we could go far east like china where the employees would work 20 hour days and get paid 8 cents a hour,

or maybe the middle east but car bombings or friday afternoon protests could hurt the grading of cards. although i am sure al antwaan randle-el. az-zahir hakim, hakim olajuwon and ahmad rashad cards would come back as 10's. i would not submit to many shawn green, sandy koufax or hank greenberg cards. i think they would have an infidel qualifier.
  • I'll go with DC . . . Only 18 short miles from my front door!

This is actually a great question / topic - if I am not mistaken, didn't PSA have an office somewhere in PA that handled limited services? I don't think this office exists anymore, however.

If you are seriously looking for an east coast location for them, you can't go wrong with NY / NJ. The amount of collectors in this area would surely make it worth their while.
