1890-O Morgan - Opinions on Grade

Hi, Everyone.

What would you grade this? It's a fairly dirty specimen, so I'm not sure about the grade. The obverse looks fairly nice, though.

If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

I'm not good at grading from huge images since they tend to overemphasize small flaws.

    But I'll try anyway -- EF-45, maybe AU-50.
  • Shrink it down a bit- looks like a wall poster \my guess- ef40 maybe 45.

    It's a 90-S not a 90-O, and I can't imagine why someone would even submit a coin like that.

Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.
  • Due to popular request, I have shrunken them down. (Sorry about that. :smackimage

  • Just to clarify: This isn't to decide if it should be slabbed. Even if it was in MS-63 condition, judging from the PCGS price list, I'd still hesitate on getting it slabbed, and I don't think it's anywhere past AU-55.

  • lol i would have liked slightly larger images...its kinda hard to see because its a dark photo with a darkly colored coin, but looks like a solid Extra Fine if not slightly better..

XF+ and the mintmark is S, not O.

It's not dirty, it has original toning. It might actually go AU-50, but it's hard to tell luster from any image. There are people that actually collect matching sets of coins-- and with what an EF45/AU50 1893s goes for it's not hard to see why.
