Anyone Planning on Attending the Sun Times Show in Chicago?

It takes place March 24-26 in Rosemont, IL and is usually offered twice a year (Early Spring and Late Fall).

I usually go for the autograph guests, which in turn allows me to browse and converse with many of the dealers present. However, I must state that the autograph guests for the past three shows have been fairly mismanaged. For instance, many autograph guests have recently been overwhelmingly football related. While I can understand this being the case in Fall (football season starts), why do we need an overwhelming football presence in Spring, when everyone should be getting excited for baseball??!!

I understand that many retired HOF'ers in baseball have spring training commitments, but it isn't as if only a handful of HOF'ers exists. Another problem is geographic presence. While a fair amount of Cubs and Bears will be present at this show, do we really need a Dallas Cowboys reunion in Chicago of all places? Sure, the Cowboys have a loyal following, but a whole day devoted to the Superbowl teams of the 90's? C'mon??!!

The best autograph guest I see on the list that is reasonable is Stan "The Man" Musial.

If I remember correctly, Ernie Banks will also be there. I generally attend all the Chicago shows. It used to be for the guests, but now the auto fees are getting outrageous. Now, they're charging inscription fees if you want them to write anything in addition to their names.
