    Talk about a make-up game for F$U! The semenholes get screwed out of a win at Duke a couple weeks ago, so tonight they are allowed to shoot 40 free throws, and Duke only had 17. When was the last time Duke lost the free throw battle?

    Good thing, too, since the bricklayers from Tallacrappee could only muster 35% from the field. Pathetic.

    This was a good time to get Duke. It's late in the year, and they have UNC on deck, not to mention they're still screwing around making changes for the tournament. Sheldon Williams have 4 fouls with 9 minutes left was huge and when McRoberts picked up his 4th, a shallow Duke team was in trouble. This was the first game in forever where lop-sided fouling went against Duke. I'd consider it a "make-up" game as well for the piss-poor officiating in the first match-up. Still, only FSU would make it interesting with a technical foul with 1.7 secs left, nonetheless, nice job! image

    Under NCAA Rules this a Technical when fans rush the court early and can be a Forfeit. If duke challenges the game it could be turned into a forfeit. I will laugh if they challenge cause they will win, the announcers were saying why are they jumping over us.

    Dick Vitale actually said when they rushed the court, "Can't they see there is still time left on the clock?"

    I thought everybody knew that at F$U they only teach their students how to read a digital clock.

    On a side note, while Duke is playing games like this - why is UConn playing a 6-21 Florida State team now? This is why I have always hated UConn and Jim Calhoun - they always seem to carefully fill their non-conference schedule with soft opponents. Which often comes back to kill them during the tournament.

    South Florida is in the Big East - UConn's conference

    Also UConn played at Arizona, Gonzaga and Indiana out-of-conference. Those are tough places to play.

    Yes, I forgot that South Florida was in the Big East this year. My bad.

    I'll concede UConn might make the Final Four - along with Duke, Villanova, and Memphis. Still, a nice FSU win tonight.

    Fsu always plays duke tough every year, even if they blow every where else.

    How the hell does Virginia tech blow the hell out of FSU last game i don't know.

    Being in a basketball conference, it's about time F$U fielded a respectable basketball team. And they didn't even have to borrow the QB to play at point guard!!

    I think Villanova goes all the way this year. They have one of the best defenses I have ever seen. If they can keep up the intensity level throughout the tournament, they could definitely win it all.

    Three potential #1 seed teams all fall to unranked teams within roughly 24 hours - CBB is great!

    I agree, reg season BB win doesn't mean anything in college, but I would hate to see fans interference change the outcome of that game.
