Split Gold Dollar in Past Heritage Auction

I remember seeing a split gold dollar offered by heritage a few months ago. It was holdered by ANACS. A real neat piece and I was just wondering if anyone remembered what sale it was part of? Thanks and sorry for being a bit vague, but I am just having trouble finding the lot. I think it was a plate coin if I remember correctly.

I believe it was September Long Beach. The coin went to a prominent dealer and is a part of his collection.

The coin was listed as an error, but catalogued with the regular gold dollars, if memory serves me correct. I assumed that it would go for beaucoup bucks, so I didn't bother to bid. When I heard what it went for I wanted to shoot myself.

I thought the same. I figured it would realize $5,000+ just because it is such a neat piece. Needless to say I ignored the lot and lost out on a neat piece!

This is why I like paper catalogs. I can't 'flip through' an online auction.
