Roosevelt Dimes can be pretty. Is this one ?

While you are looking put a grade on it. The coin has real nice luster coming through the deep thick tone. No slide marks period.

Lucy it is Nice. My darn photos wash out the color. Instead of the gold look that the reverse has it Orange with Deep Purple at the rims. It would be completely Killer if the colors were more evenly distributed. The verticle torch lines are somewhat weak. The obverse is Deep Purple with some blue. Again the tone is a little too splotchy and would look better if it was more even.
I think the coin is one of those Love or Hate situations. It deserves a shot at PCGS one of these days just because it is so original.

It can be tough, and I suck at coin photography as it is. I posted my '55-P here last week and I don't think the pictures I took do it justice. I wish I knew how to get the lighting right to get the color to pop like it should, but as I said, I suck.
