Apparently I would have to buy a collector's club membership, even though I am a PCGS dealer, because I am not the principal at my firm. Bummer.

Something like "at no extra cost to Collectors Club members" would have been better wording, IMO.

I see the word "free" to participate, but I can't, since I didn't pay for another membership this year. Misleading.

But what they don't tell you is that you have to pay between $50-$199 to join their "club" to be allowed to play for free. So in my opinion, it isn't absolutely free!! Pretty misleading statement above.

Wonder why you didn't post the complete paragraph.......it seems pretty clear to me.

<< <i>I think the new Dungeons and Dragons Online site would be a more interesting and stimulating place to drop $50. >>
Yeah. I have my +6 vise grip and my +4 hacksaw at the ready. What do I have to roll on the 20-sided die to avoid damaging a coin I crack out?
Oh, and I have the Magic +8 gauntlets to protect my hands from injury in the process and the Goggles of Mirth to protect my eyes, so my armor class is very good in the process and I shouldn't be injured by shards of flying plastic.
(I swear I haven't played D&D since I was 10!!!)

<< <i>Q: What percentage of dealers would you say are Chaotic Evil? >>
I'd say only the scam artists are "evil." Plenty of goods and neutrals are chaotic, though.
10%, but 40% are chaotic neutral and show you their good side enough so that you do not see or know about the evil side.
I played AD&D from eighth to tenth grade and then again in college.
Someone on another thread advised us to have additional hobbies; I thought that this was a good choice.

I would play all day, even without prizes. I would play to pass time! AND better yet, it has something to do with my hobby!! The last online games I used to spend time playing before I found this forum was Pogo and NeoPets

I agree. I know I would be participating! We would even settle for a 5K prize
I think the same can be said for my old-time favorite baseball team, the Kansas City Royals. I live 175 miles from the stadium and they're so bad I can smell it from here.
Oh...
wrong World Series.
The grading thing? It's fixed anyway, you have to match up with PCGS grading, and who knows what their standards are from day to day.
