Weird waking moment

I woke up this morning and as I was transferring the change from the pants I wore yesterday to my clean ones for work today, I had a thought.
What would be the percentages of coins carried by individuals to become the most "worn".... Would women be more prone to having less coin wear by carrying change in a purse rather than the common male who carry it in their pockets?
....told you it was weird.

This is a very dumb ass thread. - Laura Sperber - Tuesday January 09, 2007 11:16 AM
Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.

Smoetimes it is best to keep those special dreams to ones' self
Relevancy, so seemingly rational in the waking moments, loses smoething with the passage of time

Part of the problem is that if you reply to a thread like this it is an admission that you opened it.
Purses tend to cause far less wear than pockets. Indeed, you've hit on one of the biggest reasons
that coins don't get as much wear as in the past. Not only do coins get more wear in pockets but they
get the most wear when the are jingling such as a during brisk walk or in a workman's pocket. Now days
almost all work is done by machine (more than 99%) and few people are willing to jingle when they walk.
Much of the wear coins get now is in going through counting and vending machines or being slid across
counters.
<< <i>I have a pair of sandpaper pantaloons ($89.95 from Macy's) that wreak havoc on my pocket change. I foolishly wore them to a coin show last year and turned a small collection of Indian Head cents into bronze powder. >>
