Is there a numismatic writer in Coin World named Richard Watson?

I was taking a look through Ebay, and I found a numismatic book that is signed by the author and presented to someone named Richard Watson. The Ebay seller indicates that "anyone who is worth their salt in numismatics" knows who Richard Watson is (not a direct quote, but close). The seller indicates that he is a famous author who writes for Coin World. I don't pay too much attention to the authors' names when I read CW, so it is possible that I just never noticed how famous Richard Watson is. Does anyone know anything about him, and how prominent an author is he?

Of course, I don't subscribe to CW, so I don't know either, which is fine, I am trying to stay on a low sodium diet!

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
