Question about possible error card...(big pic)

I'm not a card collector, but I accumulated a bunch back in the early to mid 90's. Anyway, I was going through a bunch to unload on ebay and noticed a 1993 Topps Black Gold Brady Anderson card that was missing the small copyright info at the bottom. Is this a known error or anything to get jazzed about? The card is in great shape...I'd grade it at least an MS67 (kidding, of corse ). Seriously, the card is in mint condition. Here's a pic.
Any help or advice would be great.

Gee thanks, bud. It's replies like these that make me glad I don't collect cardboard.
Thanks for the serious reply, pandrews.

<< <i>Just telling it like it is. Sorry if the truth hurts your feelings. Beckett makes no mention of any type of variation so that's why I said what I did. If they never corrected it then it makes no difference in value. >>
There are several ways to, as you put it, "tell it like it is." You don't have to be an a$$hole about it.
To the OP, I think it's a cool variation. Who knows? A card of a hearing-impaired baseball player just sold for 100X what the seller originally paid for it. There may be a market out there.

Oh don't worry, my feeling aren't hurt. I could care less one way or the other. I just thought I'd ask the experts a serious question and get a serious answer before I get rid of something that might be of special interest. I don't read Beckett, so I didn't know. Now, do the world a favor and go drink bleach.

And it may come off as appearing like a lecture...
It's obvious that a "coin" person came over to our board with a question...
He is a "guest" and I don't think it's a good idea to raz a guest who has a legitimate question if we want the same courtesy if we were to go over there with a query?
And any allusion to "that's how we were treated" - doesn't help us.
When a guest comes over with a question about sports cards & memorabilia - I think we are ALL ambassadors for this forum.
This is my opinion and feeling in this matter.

Nah...no fight here. I'm done with this pinhead. I got better things to do. As for the card, thanks to all who replied helpfully. The card will go to ebay seprately. If it sells for a buck, fine. If it sells for more, great. And if anyone is interested, keep your eyes peeled on the BST boards for an ebay link within the next week.
BTW....Brian Winters sucks.

I was kidding, of course. I don't know who he is, but I'm sure he's a good person.
Peace, cardboard people.

Whether Stone's comment was a "lecture"(as he put it) or not is irrelevant. Show these guys a little respect.
Then again, I have no major plans for tomorrow night so if you plan on giving someone else hell, I'll be here.

<< <i>Well I won't apologize for last night because I don't care for Mr. Quick Bid. As far as tonight goes I was trying to be funny but I guess that sometimes humor goes over some people's heads. As we all know it's sometimes hard to understand what a person is trying to say when you can't hear them say it. People can take things the wrong way. >>
Good point. Keep that in mind in your future posts.
If I took YOU the wrong way, I apoligize. Maybe I'm on my period too.

I couldn't say it better myself. That is definitely one of the best replies I have ever read.

Not to mention those dudes are downright nasty on the Open Forum at times, and I love it!

<< <i> I think enough people who matter on this board who have dealt with me know that I'm not the devil. >>
I agree.
I would like to say that when I got on my soap box...
It was not meant to vilify Brian but rather to just bring up the fact that sometimes a joke - when the person asking the questions is a guest - may come off the wrong way.
I may not know Brian as others do, but we have always had some good conversations about cards.
I agree with Brian, in a sense that it would be in our best interest to talk about sports cards and stuff.
And BTW, if you're not collecting Heritage right now...might be a good idea to jump in! If you like BB.

<< <i>Some of you need to grow some stones and not be so damn touchy. I mean life isn't all hugs and puppies and ice cream cones. That is equal to you calling my mother the "C" word! Better hope I never find out where you live!
Maybe you and your 15 posts should get to know me before you compare me to that piece of work!

And here I was hoping for a scoop of vanilla
Speaking of "growing some stones," perhaps you should have the courage to stand by (and not delete) your posts or the integrity to not post such immature and rude things in the first place.

I got plenty of stones my man. Just trying to extend the olive branch to the thin skinned of the group. And what's rude and immature to you is funny to me and that's what makes this a great place. As I said I'm not PC and don't ever plan to be. Don't like it?? Tough!

I have the 93 Topps gold set and the black gold cards too.
If memory serves me, and I am only going from memory, the blacks were available 2 ways. In packs, and as a send away. The ones that were found in packs lacked that copyright and the send away's had it. To get the send away you would get in a pack a special redemption card for set A or B etc.
later I will look and see just to make sure.
hope this helps.
Steve
When Lemke did an article on a 1959 Topps Haywood Sullivan card lacking a circle around the C in copyright, it's value shot up on ebay. Same with a Tony Oliva Turn Back the Clock card that was missing the copyright. For awhile it was drawing bids over $ 100. On the other hand there is a whole set of 1991 TSN Conlon cards that all can be found with or without the copyright and there is little premium associated with either set
