I finally found a raw 1955 PF CAM/DCAM half that.....

is a an upgrade to the ho hum 55 I have in my raw CAM/DCAM Proof Frankie set.
I have been looking for an upgrade coin for a while, one that has equally black mirrors and frosted devices on both sides. Found it in a 1955 proof set in a capital holder. Even though the half was hazed over, a little on the front and more so on the back, it looked promising. The shop quoted me a price of $100.00 so I figured I can't lose. I picked up the set, removed the half and had the haze removed. It is a black and white stunner. No frost breaks and no hairlines visible with a 10x loupe. At least a 67CAM IMHO.
Now I just need to find a raw upgrade 1959 and a raw upgrade 1961 with a similar black and white look on both sides of the coin to complete my set. I have been loking for an upgrade 1955 for quite a while and finally found it. The "thrill of the hunt" can't be beat.
