This is my first post, but I've read many threads here. Some of the pictures and scans of your coins are amazing.
The PCGS services depend of the coin value and the value depends on the grade, but you are sending the coin to PCGS to be graded, so do you just take your best guess at the grade when submitting?

best guess as to value will do.
coins under 300 bucks are x amount
most folks round here say if ya guess wrong and get a happy gram they wont ding ya !

And if you think everyone here is a good coin grader, you are new. That is why there is a PCGS.

In the old days before PCGS the seller and the buyer would have to agree on the grade and price. Now we get a 3'rd party opinion by paying PCGS for their opinion. Naturally people who are good at grading understand what to expect from PCGS so are more successful when sending coins in for certification.
