Snipes

Anyone like the service they use?? I am thinking that I need to use a snipping service to play with the big boys.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

bidnapper.com works great for me. Have never had an issue with them. Here are their pricing plans....

Use Bidnapper for 10 days with no obligation or commitment. Use all of Bidnapper's features, on as many auctions as you want. Then, select one of these service options:

Continuous, unlimited service, for frequent eBay buyers who want the assurance of uninterrupted service and the convenience of periodic charges. Billed at $6.95 each month

12 months of unlimited service $46.95
6 months of unlimited service $26.95
3 months of unlimited service $16.95
1 month of unlimited service $9.95

10 winning snipes, for infrequent eBay buyers who prefer to pay on a per-snipe basis. Snipes do not expire, $19.95
    25 winning snipes,$36.95

I just started using justsnipe last week. It's free for up to 5 snipes a week. They go in with 8 seconds left. If you choose the pay service (I think it's like $5 a month or something), your snipes get put in with 5 seconds left. The only time I used it thus far was a success.

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    I was using esnipe.com

It worked very well bidding 3 seconds before an auctions end but it started costing too much. I'm using justsnipe.com as well for the 5 freebies per week. It works well too.

Tell me why a snipe works better than just putting in my highest bid with a minute to do? I know the snipe must work better because I get outbid by $2.50 a lot.

    Bob,
Anything can happen in the last minute. But a snipe will not be any better than someone sitting at a computer with 5 seconds to go. The issue is who can do that. Auctions end at all hours of the day. There may be multiple auctions going on at the same time that you have interest and if you want to have a life outside of E-Bay it gets your bids in for you if you are asleep, at work, at church, at your kids game, watching the Super Bowl etc.

I've missed out on bidding on so many items either from just losing track of time and forgetting to bid.. screwing up on my bid in the last 10 seconds.. not getting home in time.. snipeing has fixed that.
