Received 15 coins back from ANACS today. Wanted to get the rest of my discovery coins slabbed, but I also added a few others in the shipment.
Pleased with the 1880-S. I bought it raw. It came back "MS64 CAMEO DMPL". Do they put "CAMEO" on all of their DMPL Morgans?
Not so happy with the 1900-P. I sent it in as a VAM 11 TOP 100. It came back as a VAM 24 TOP 100. Guess I need to check it out in more detail. Disappointed with the grade. It has a very weak strike. Looked at least MS63 to me; possibly 64. Came back MS62.
Got 14 new holders and 1 updated-old-style holder for a discovery coin with a scratch. I may post some images later to show the varieties. Some of the new labels have 1 line, some 2, and some 3. One label even has "Morgan" printed on it, while the others do not.
