Well I was right... the coin in hand is *much* nicer than the pictures implied. Surfaces are impeccable, with lovely gold-bronze toning around the periphery.

I agree with Cathy, but I wonder which one of the two is closer to the real thing, regarding the toning. Great coin.

Well, the two sets of pics aren't *that* different from one another in terms of coloration. The things I don't like about NEN's pics are the blown-out highlights and loss of detail. My pics are maybe a bit murky, but I find them to be a bit more "natural" (granted I'm biased

).
