Color Ho's unite - Super Toned Bust Half Dime inside

This little beauty just arrived this afternoon. It's nothing rare, just an 1832 LM5. Duplicate die marriage and die state for me but an upgrade in grade and eye appeal. I'm not one to usually go "gah gah" over colors but this kind of color on a Bust Half Dime is something very cool to see in hand. Plus the coin is a winner on other merits as well, it's definitely got more going for it than just color. Please excuse the tilted photos as I'm pretty miserable at toned photography. This steep angle was the only way I could capture the color without having a huge glare on the coin.
As usual the auciton photos were not up to par for the coin. They did show that there was color on the coin but they looked rather bland. Another reminder that you really have to learn how to "read" the photos at the major auction houses. What looks blotchy and drab in an auction may often times look beautiful.

That 1832 set must be complete by now? What's next?

I'm still missing one coin in the die state set of the '32 LM5. Aside from that the half dime collection never ends

<< <i>Please send us a link to the auction pic so we may see both views of the coin. >>
Here ya go. This is a cropped photo I made with the auction photos. The pic shows that the coin definitely has toning and color to it but nothing like what it is in hand. The auction photo seems much more bland and flat than it actually is and the toning looks splotchier than it is. This is actually one of the better auction photos too. Much worse are out there when it comes to accurate colors.

<< <i>I think by the time you finish this mini-collection, most of the forum members will be able to ID this die marriage (1832 LM-5)! >>
LOL whether they like it or not huh?

<< <i>Nice coin, and it even has a 90 degree rotation.
LOL. In reality it's only got about 5 degrees of rotation
Thanks for the great comments everybody.
It looks like I am climbing the coin.
