It must be some sort of database issue -- like, they can't put an MS grade in without also added a RD/RB/BN qualifier. Since none of those really work, just pick one, and if you're going to just pick one, it might as well be RD.
Maybe they should add a "GR" (gray)?

Zn is the Symbol for Zinc on the periodic table..... Why Not MS65Zn?
They manage to grade Flying Eagles, 1859-1864 Indians, and 1943 cents without colors.....

PCGS is never wrong. If this was in any other holder, it would be questionable, but....this coin is red---now lets move on.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
