Good price to pay for Krause?

I stopped today at a book store that will be closing its doors next thursday. They had everything on sale and I got:

1.) 2004 Standard Catalog of World Coins 1901 - Present, 31st Edition for $10.50, and

2.) Standard Catalog of World Coins, 19th Century 1801 - 1900, Third Edition for $9.10.

Were these good prices or what?

Very good prices. Current editions are 33rd for the 1901- and 4th for the 19th C.

I think it's good. Probably can't trust the prices.... but the other info will be good. I think you can get the new Krause 2006 for around $45 new.... the 2007 will probably be out soon. Not sure what the most recent edition is of the 1801 - 1900 book... but again, good price for a good reference.

Wish I could find some of those coin books in the used book stores around my area (Omaha). I always keep looking.... but just not too many show up!

    They're not used.
