namath rc question

Just wondering what service level to submit this card under. Express? Any thought on grade also appreciated, if I managed to create a link to the scan...

It's really not big enough to tell anything about the card.

It's a nice one from what I can see tho centering is an issue.

Not sure about he service? Are you in a hurry to get it back?

    good luck

  • I would get relatively cheaper level of service....wouldn't break the bank personally for expedited TAT....

My guess would be a straight 6/7 or 7/8 OC...
  • Thanks for posting the pic stone - not in a hurry to get it back. I know I've seen this topic covered before, I'm just not sure what to do about "declared value"... PSA 6 (my guess, but it might be a 7) SMR is $750....

I know the scan is small, but the card also has the "butterfly" mark on the hand...

    Thanks for all input,

  • I would say declare it at 6 in case something happens...it's for insurance purposes only when the Grader drops it while inspecting then slabs it w/ a 2 and you have no recourse....j/k

    I would declare a 6

Blowing up the scan and using 'jruler', I get 85 / 15 left to right centering.

That means the highest unqualified grade it could receive is PSA 5.
Even if it gets a PSA 7 - OC, the value would still be in the PSA 5 range which is about 500 bucks.

  • Thanks wolf - confirms my thought of declaring it at $499, staying at the regular level...here's hoping for a friendly grader...
  • Very nice Namath, Im resubmitting mine at this time. Looks sharp from here, good luck!

Nice card. I have a 66 that i'm going to send soon. I'm hoping for a 9, but realistically it'll grade an 8.
