Just another example that PSA 10's are in a class all by themselves...

But I see your point about comparing the 2.
BTW, note that the 10 is a 314 cert.

Please explain, I'm not sure what that means?
card #1 low pop and ugly aesthetics sells for $3,400 this week
card #2 low pop and PRETTY aethetics sells for $3,400 next week
who comes out better? or is the fact that it's a low pop card overshadow the aesthetics aspect?

<< <i>I think I speak for a lot of the collectors when I say it's not that important how a card looks so long as the label is a PSA 10. If you don't like the centering, corners, print dots on a PSA 10, don't show the card on you Registry! It's not that hard, people! You'll get the benefit of that card upping your GPA and that's all that should matter. >>
meaningless & inconsequential..

Hurt, I have to disagree. So by this logic you can have a terd in psa 10 slab and just because it's a 10 we should be happy? It should be more important to have good quality cards then being number 1 in the set registry.

Very interesting.
I wonder how many copies came out with and without the "freckle" in the upper left corner.
I have some copies in varying degrees of centering with the "freckle."
Centering is a key to these 78s just like the BB. And, I'm not in love with the 10 for that kind of money and centering.

If you scan this board, you'll see threads alleging that cards with certification numbers starting with 314 were graded by a "grader of death."
A lot of these threads are currently on page two.
It's simple really.
Look at the cert # on the 10 : 3147 91 58 : 9 + 1 = 10
Then look at the cert # on the 9 : 81437 45 3 : 4 + 5 = 9
Duh ...

DBH, don't let your untarnished reputation on these boards be ruined now!!!!
That Bowman Chrome Pujols BGS 10 is looking better all the time. Well, maybe not, but at least its raw value is more than $12.
