and its your wifes Grandpa and he says "I understand you like coins now" well take this and give me whats in your pocket, next weekend I will bring 1 more, so it came, the next week he shows up with yet another suitcase, finally says this time, I have 1 more trip and then we can talk about it..................So I hang out and start writing down whats in the suitcase's and then close that case open another, throw that paper in that one and so on..........................This is awsome, but I have NO room to keep it all, I was already given a collection from my grandpa...............anyway here is 1 suitcase's entry's...and soon to be gone, I have keep just about everything I wanted from this suitcase.Each has the original box it came in when shipped......What would you give me if I walked into your shop and said how much?..............

What bid? Coin Mag's prices?.......I am with you as far as the proof sets, but I have a hunch I should have keep something in the last suitcase I sold, I never made it to the dealer for his Low ball price and this guy walks up to me, and overheard where I was going and asked if he can look, well, I had a # in my head and he almost doubled it, he had all the money but a couple bills, and I knew he didnt want to let it get from his sight................But I figure, He knew I knew something about coins ect...."yea thats a front"......and when he said his # I just stood there, and played him like he played me............He Cherrypicked me........LOL

I e-mailed the guy I always go to to buy stuff from and he reply'd with $280............. without the 4 typ 2's and he said the 79=$80 and 81=$225

You have the right idea, get rid of it fast. I wouldn't even buy proof sets.

Grey sheet bid on the proof sets alone is right about $975. In my area these would easily sell for about $875 to a dealer - a bit more to a collector.

Graysheet bid, which Cameonut says is $975 (I wouldn't know, I haven't looked at the sheet in years.). 10% back of bid would be $877 so the $875 that he says his local dealers would pay is right in line with my quote.

First I would verify that the 81 were really ALL Type 2's! Lots of prople have sets that say T2s but they are only partials. Other than that, most dealers would go 10%-15% back of bid on them.
